Gottlieb Aron Kleofas Hyvämäki, formerly Hymander, born in Helsinki

Cleophas starts his schooling at the Heinze school for young children

She continues her studies at the Finnish School for Girls in Helsinki
1892
Kleofas enrols at the Finnish Normal Lyceum
1894
Kleofas starts studying at the Faculty of Theology at the University of Helsinki

Kleofas' important contact with the awakened people of Ostrobothnia.

Keofas spends the summer in Nilsiä, visits Aholansaari for the first time and joins the Awakened for good.
1900
Cleophas is ordained a priest in Savonlinna Cathedral
1903
Kleofas is married in Lappeen church to Edith Nordström, the daughter of the vicar of Lappeen, a science teacher.
1907
Kleofas moves to Nilsiää as assistant to the vicar Herman Miettinen
1911
Bishop Juho Koskimies ordains Kleofas as vicar of Varpaisjärvi
1913
Kleofas buys the Ahola farm, which includes Ahola Island and 400 hectares of land on the mainland.
1917
Cleophas accused of maladministration. The charges are found to be unfounded
1918
Cleophas takes part in the failed liberation expedition to Viena-Karelia.
1923
The Portaanpää People's College opens. Kleofas does a great job of raising money for the building fund.
1924
The main building at the head of the port burns down. The new main building is completed in the autumn of the same year
1925
Cleophas falls seriously ill.
1932
Cleophas dies and is buried in Lappeenranta.
1955
Edith Hyvämäki dies and donates the Paavo manor house and its surroundings to the Herald Association by will.
